Activ Nutrition is the data-driven nutrition coaching program at Activ Fitness in Huntersville, NC. Instead of generic meal plans or calorie-counting guesswork, we use your InBody body composition scan to build a personalized nutrition strategy based on what your body actually needs — your lean muscle mass, body fat percentage, hydration levels, and metabolic rate.

Every consultation starts with a full InBody 270 body composition scan and TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) calculation. From there, your coach assigns you one of five Macro Archetypes — Fat Loss Accelerator, Recomposition Builder, Lean Performer, Lean Muscle Builder, or Mass Builder — and builds a custom macro plan with specific protein, carb, and fat targets tailored to your goals, lifestyle, and food preferences.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I have to track my macros every day?

No. While we give you specific macro and calorie targets as a framework, we also teach you The Eyeball Method — a simple way to assess meals visually. Some clients track closely, especially early on. Most learn to make smart choices without logging every bite.

What if I’ve tried everything and nothing works?

Most people who feel this way haven’t tried a strategy matched to their metabolism. They’ve tried generic approaches. We start with your actual body composition data and match your nutrition to how your body processes fuel. That’s the difference.

What’s an InBody scan?

The InBody 270 is a medical-grade body composition analyzer. It measures your muscle mass, body fat percentage, body fat weight, total body water, and basal metabolic rate in about 60 seconds. It’s far more useful than stepping on a scale because it shows what your weight is actually made of.

Is this a meal plan?

It’s more than a meal plan. You’ll receive a personalized meal framework with food suggestions, but the real value is learning how to think about food. We teach you a system so you can make aligned decisions anywhere — not just when you have a plan in front of you.

Do I need to be a gym member to use nutrition coaching?

Nutrition coaching is included in our Introduction Program, 3T Method, and Activ Elite Program. It’s also available as a standalone service for non-members. Reach out to learn more about standalone pricing.

How is this different from what I’d get from a dietitian or a generic nutrition app?

We combine objective body composition data, metabolic profiling, and a structured coaching system that evolves with you. Most apps give you a calorie number and leave you to figure it out. Most dietitians don’t have your InBody data or a progressive framework that adjusts as your body changes. We do both.

Can I do keto / vegetarian / Mediterranean with this program?

Yes. We tailor food suggestions to your dietary preferences. Our system supports Standard American, Mediterranean, DASH, Vegetarian, and Ketogenic styles. Your macro strategy stays the same — we just adjust which foods fill those targets.
