FAQ

Q: What is assisted stretch therapy?

A: Assisted stretch therapy is a one-on-one session where a trained specialist guides your body through a series of targeted stretches you can’t effectively perform alone. At Activ Fitness in Huntersville, our specialist uses a combination of active stretching, static holds, and mobility drills to release tension, improve range of motion, and support recovery.

Q: How much does assisted stretching cost in Huntersville?

A: Assisted stretch sessions at Activ Fitness are $70 per session. We offer both 60-minute full sessions and 25-minute express stretch options.

Q: How often should I get assisted stretching?

A: For most people, once or twice per week produces noticeable improvements in flexibility and pain reduction within 2–4 weeks. Athletes and those recovering from injury may benefit from more frequent sessions. Your specialist will recommend a schedule based on your assessment.

Q: Can assisted stretching help with back pain or sciatica?

A: Many clients experience significant relief from back pain and sciatica-related symptoms through regular assisted stretching. By improving flexibility in the hip flexors, hamstrings, and lower back, stretch therapy can reduce the muscular tension that contributes to chronic pain. However, we always recommend consulting your physician for specific medical conditions.
